Children refusing to ride and such

Ok, back from the trip. The 9 y/o was all talk and no action, got to the GK on early entry, and he lost it standing on the deck. The ride op nearest the exit was kind enough to let us do a parent swap with no "official" pass for which I am grateful, and the 8 y/o got to ride twice!

For the record, my 9 y/o rode Gemini, Corkscrew, Mine Ride, and the most "awesomenest", Iron Dragon, 3 times.

His heart belongs to Castaway Bay though.....

Lol, it's funny to think that because a panicked human fears for their safety on a roller coaster they would in fact remove a safety restraint for whatever absurd reason.

I did a darn good job of doing just that on The Racer at KI as a youngster back in the early 70's. Tried to hide down in the bottom of the car after we started down the first hill which slipped me right out from under the lap bar. My father held me down in the bottom of the car the rest of the ride.

I was not forced to ride - I had wanted to ride, apparently until 1/2 way down the first hill.

The god of speculation

^Amen.

A little of topic, but here's a good joke:

Q: How do you find Michigan?

A: Go West till you smell it and go North till you step in it.

Ha.
