Checking it out for myself.

Well, curiosity has taken the best of me and I am going to go check out the TTD in person. I am hoping that the computer images I have seen for the last several months are nothing compared to the real thing.

Keep an eye on the webcam. You might catch me relieving myself, unintentionally, while staring up at this beast.

See ya'll in a couple of weeks.

Can't wait to be at the Point!

It's great to see in person. The pictures on the computer don't do it justice. Make sure you drive around the area to see it from different viewpoints. When my wife & I drove up there, we drove around Sandusky to find good places to view it from. We even drove up to Marblehead to catch the view from there. I hope you have a sunny day, that makes it even better to look at.
Well, I am looking to see it up close and personal. We'll see how it shakes out and I'll let you know.
Don't pull a muscle!

Hey Chief Wahoo, I'll be seeing it up close and personal in a few days as well. I've driven out there to see it before, and it is impressive enough from the back of the parking lot. I can't wait to be right next to it!

If you live in Toledo, just go stand by the OI building. Same experience.

Oh my. . .I know it will be cool looking at it, but sitting on it will be a whole different experience.

NOTHING is better than seeing TTD in person, wait until you stand behind the hill, you think MF is tall? You ain't seen NOTHING yet!! ;) Do NOT judge TTD's size from the webcams or any pics you've seen to date because they do not do TTD justice!!

It's all about getting around the barrels, or over the fences, right leads, no faults, fastest time and looking pretty when done. What's so hard about that? :)

What got it for me was being over by the Millennium entrance and looking over at TTD. That to me, really gave me a sence of just how tall it was:)

I could not agree with you more Jo! Standing next to that hill is pretty impressive!

I was just up at the park the other day to see TTD. All I could think was "WOW" and "Holy ****". That sucker is huge and pictures just don't let you know at all how big this thing is. One thing that really put it into perspective was seeing some workers on the walkways about halfway up. When you compare their size to the ride it is amazing. I can't wait for May 4th.

I'll be IN the park on Tuesday doing a media spot, thanks to the Public Relations folks. They just don't get the credit they deserve...at any rate, it will be interesting to actually see the layout up close, I'm interested in this tunnel they're putting in on TTD, with the trivia and all..
I just went up there this afternoon, and I couldn't even tell how tall it was because the top of it was stick up into the low clouds. But that really gave me an idea on how big it is.

Catch me on AIM, I like talking to new people

Well, I haven't been over yet but I saw it from Route 2. Oh my goodness. At first I wasn't sure what I was seeing...then I saw this little thing called Power Tower to the right and I was stunned.

Woosh!

Yeah, I hope it does look better in person than on the webcams.
