I know that the majority of people on here don't have to worry about this for themselves since they have platinum passes, but I thought I'd share it for people that could benefit if they don't already know. Since buying a single day ticket for $44.99 on the website automatically incurs the $5.99 processing fee, a ticket is really $51.98. However, you can get the ticket for $44.99 flat (no tax, I called my local Meijer) from buying one at the store. I'm pretty sure this is the cheapest possible CP ticket one can get short of a five-finger discount.
Drug Mart also sells discount CP tickets. $44.99. Not sure if they collect sales tax but if Meijer doesn't, I would expect Drug Mart doesn't either.
The price of the ticket, purchased anywhere, already includes sales tax.
2008 visits = 38, 2009 = 19, 2010 = 11, 2011 = 14, 2012 = 10, 2013 = 14, 2014 = 14, 2015= 13, 2016 = 11, 2017 = 5, 2018 = 3
Check with your credit unions too! Some can even beat that price and for an addition $8.00 with the purchase of a single pass you can add a all you can drink pop wristband from what I've been told. Co-Op credit union is one, but there are many others.
You boneheads need to learn how to roll up the extension cord for the fluggegecheimen when you're done with it!
I think I saw on CP's site $40 midweek tickets. I don't know if there are any extra fees since I wasn't planning on buying any.

I realize I'm late on this topic, but I just got tickets good for any day until June 30th for $37 + processing fee which equals around $40 on the website if you use the promo code "cancer". Also $3 gets donated to cancer research which I thought was great!
Maverick steals the #1 spot, sorry MF
Ohio State students at the Columbus campus get tickets for $15 each, and anyone can use them. Go Bucks?

I will be going in Late July / early August and was wondering if there are any good deals to be had? Im going with 2 other people and I haven't had any luck finding any discounted tickets anywhere if you are visiting after June 30th. Im planning on getting to the park from 5 to close my first day then a full day on my second day. If going by the websites online prices, It looks like its SLIGHTLY cheaper to buy a regular full day and a starlight than it is to get a ride and slide, but not by much.
Anyone know if any other discounts that would be better?
Cedar Point has been running many different specials, each month, over the past 2 or 3 years. Last year, when they announced Gatekeeper, they ran a 2 day sale on tickets for $25. Don't buy them from the stores, until you are on your way there.
Another good way to save, if they still do it, is to take your parking receipt to some of the restaurants that are in the hotels or marinas, there, including Famous Dave's. They will knock the parking fee off of your meal as long as you spend a certain amount of cash.
