Cheap Tickets on Father's Day

Hey guys, just wanted to let you know - if you have a Season Pass or Platinum Pass, you can bring a friend to the park tomorrow for $9.95.

All you have to do is show your Pass at any ticket booth to receive the discounted admission (one per Passholder).

Oh, and since the Tony & Tyler thread was going "somewhere else," I decided to post it here.

Thought you might like to know when we do promo's like this, as saving money is important these days.

That's wonderful Tony, I'm glad to see Father's Day is finally a special day at CP.

Was attendance normally low on Father's Day in past years?

If this sort of day would have been announced sooner, I could have made plans to take my dad and stepmom up there - they don't typically wish to pay the full price. Bummer.

In any event, it's a great idea, and hopefully we'll see this more in the future, and with more advance notice.

I knew about the discount when I processed my season pass back in the beginning of May.

Yeah thanks for telling us a day before. Mom said we would have taken the whole family today if she would have know a week or two in advance. :(

It was very short notice, but I happened to look on the CP website and notice this the morning we left for CP. I got 2 people in for 10 dollars and it saved them a lot of money. The other 2 people we had in our group, I had 8 dollar off coupons for. The attendance seemed low and nearly walk-ons for every ride.

Awesome day. Now I'm just recoupperating my feet (they have blisters on them) and enjoying some well deserved central air conditioning.

Saturday was pretty good attendance but the only rides to suffer from long waits really we're Maverick, TTD, Millennium Force, and Raptor. If you worked out things right you never waited over 1 hour for any ride, and Maverick being that ride you wait the longest for.

^ That's how it was Thursday too. Unfortunately those are the coasters we like to ride a lot. :)
