Charters to Cedar Point

It may seem early but I am interested in going to Cedar Point on opening day of the 2006 season (May 6)

Does anyone know of a Charter that leaves from the Detroit area, goes directly to the parking lot. And back on the same day.

Technically, shouldn't a charter go wherever you want it to?

I thought there were buses that had routes to places and back. And this is only for 2 people, not a group of 30-40 people.

I know there's a bus company in Lansing here that has a pick up spot in Lansing and Brighton and takes trips to Cedar Point. However, I believe they are done for the season.

You could try looking for information. The company name is Dean Trailways of Michigan.

I believe Dean Trailways of Michigan By Lansing and Blue Lakes over by clio. They are the main ones that I know of. I dont know if they go down that early in the year. I know Blue Lakes goes Memorial day-Labor Day Four Times a Week.

Prices are around I want to say $75.00which includes your ticket.

I run a non-profit adventure tourism organization in London, Ontario and we are planning another bus trip to Cedar Point for opening day (we go every year).

We do pass through Detroit on the way to the park, so it would be a possibility to pick you and your friends up.

I can't give you an exact price today, but we are non-profit, so in other words we simply split the cost of the bus. You'd likely be looking at about $70 US including admission, or about $40 if you have a season pass at Cedar Point.

We arrive for park opening, and leave when the park closes.

See you on the midway!

Greyhound... it will cost you roughly 50 bucks. Just take a cab to the park. Pretty easy and plenty of times available.

Just don't miss the bus... right Josh?

If by "don't miss the bus" you mean don't get stuck in a cab with an annoying girl who'll take "only a second" to grab her stuff from commons and then take 20 minutes, then yes, don't miss the bus. ;-)

Now, if you are planning on taking the Greyhound to Sandusky, make sure you have some kind of transportation to wherever you're going. You're pretty much at the far end of the middle of nowhere, and there's no sidewalk on that side of the street. Right, Andrew?
