Character signs...

has anyone heard anything new about the character signs that once stood at the entrance of each ride? I miss them!Last I heard, they're being stored on point in the warehouse inside Mean Streak.

The "warehouse"/shack that's near the lines that twist in and out inside the center of the Mean Streak layout.

Indeed they are in storage inside the park. It's "possible" a few of them may appear in the Town Hall within the next season or two.

Too bad they don't have annual bidding sessions or conventions like Disneyana and auction off old park thingies. I bet if someone had enough money they'd buy every single one of those signs. But it makes you wonder if perhaps they'll sell some of the older ones that were gone before ALL the signs were replaced (i.e. Avalanche Run or the Pirate Ride) unless of course those ones have been destroyed already.

I wouldn't be surprised if we see some of those signs up for auction sometime in the future.

I would love to have the DT & Avalanche Run ones, and display them proudly!!

I wonder if they still have signs from the Switchback Railway :) That would be cool and expensive

Wow! I can't beleive how many of you would rather have one of them in your hands than all of them in the park! I wish they'd return them to the entrances to the rides, then everyone could enjoy them as they were supposed to be.

Agreed, CPcyclone. I wouldn't mind them auctioning off the closed rides, though. Pirate Ride, Mill Race, etc.
