Chaos is one of the top rides at CP!!!!

Cedar Point has the Park Model Of Chaos.Yes It Still can be moved but not like the portable Michigans Adventure one.You can tell by the restraints holding the feet ma is Steel bars and Cedar Points is Hard Black Plastic."I wouldnt dub Cedar Points as being safe "me which has been on it this year when its stalled 5 times already" 1st time we got stuck at the top and Are foot harness released He re-engaged the ride after bringing usdown an  everything and it happened again. He then told us he'd try once more well it happened to him a third time.He finally called maintenence.

The Chaos at Michigan's Adventure is an older one than the one at Cedar Point. Originally, the ride was supposed to just have the shoulder bars, then Chance discovered that riders could hit their legs on the crossbar behind the tub, so they added the leg cage...which is what the one at Michigan's Adventure has. By the time Cedar Point bought theirs, Chance had re-worked the restraints twice, and had come up with the overhead leg-bar to replace the cage.

I thought Michigan's Adventure had the first park-model Chaos.

Chaos is a great ride (the one I've been on most is at Martin's Fantasy Island, a small but nice park on Grand Island, NY) but it just doesn't compare to the other rides at CP, in my humble opinion.
The chaos at Cedar Point doesnt have black plastic lap bars and restraints. They are rubber and foam coated steal. They are about as safe as it comes.

Yes, Greg, but that isn't the difference between the park model and the portable model...that's the difference between "built before Chance realized they needed a leg bar and therefore added on" and "built after Chance realized they needed a leg bar and integrated into the new design." The difference between the park model and the portable model is that the portable model is sitting on a trailer and the park model is sitting on a ground frame. The one at Michigan's Adventure is one of the first few Chaos rides built. A modern trailer-mount Chaos would have exactly the same restraints as the P/M one at Cedar Point. Whether it is a P/M or T/M I can't say 'cause I haven't looked that close.

The one at VF has black, foamy restraint bars, which take up less space. I've seen them with the wide, metal bar restraints-Midway fair companies have them.

We've occasionally had to deal with overweight guests fitting in their seats. A few of them wound up not being able to ride.

Except for one time when one girl waited until she reached the garbage can at the front of the queue line, I never ever saw anyone puke during or after the ride.

just rode the choas at MA a few weeks ago...Thanks God it wasnt two day ago!
