All in favor of "Operation Trees" for Project 2008, say "I."
And didn't they used to have those mister things under Magnum's track where it crosses the midway coming out of the station?
The cooling stations seem like a cool idea at first thought, but it seems that every park that has them just lets them go. They wind up looking like wet, disgusting little corners in the parks.

Create a new nighttime show to replace Hot Summmer Lights (Perhaps JUST a fireworks show)
Well, first off, they just redesigned the show for this year... but besides that the problem that Cedar Point has with doing fireworks each night is that they don't have anywhere to shoot them off. You'll notice that Hot Summer Lights doesn't use 'true' fireworks because of this. They have to use the front of the main parking lot where employees normally park. The whole area is blocked off the entire day, and many spaces are lost, not to mention that I believe there is an employee parking ban that day as a result.

Not to mention worrying about the rides if they shoot larger ones inside the park. Last time I was there, one of the fireworks mis-fired and a big ball of fire nearly hit the overbanked curve over the Millennium Force queue. Not that it would have done any damage, but if at train had have been going through there at the time I bet that would have been fun to experience. :-P
How about wireless headsets for some of the smaller flat rides like matterhorn and scrambler. Load times were horrible last week due to the safety schpeel and then he would come out and check seatbelts. I know they have the headsets on some of the bigger coasters and am pretty sure it wouldn't be that expensive to do it on some of the flat rides.
I'm pretty sure that the fireworks shows are set off down the beach by Kinzel's house. At least, that has been where the opening day fireworks have been.

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.
I'm pretty sure it's the very edge of the parking lot, where it backs up to the beach. That's where they park the truck they bring the fireworks in and I've seen the holders for them there, and with the fence and trees that are right there, there really is no effective way to get to the beach right there. Look at the degree they're being shot from seen here:

CP has said the best place to view the 4th of July fireworks is on the CP beach. Take that for what's it worth. I have never been there for the event.

I would also change the CP uniforms. Those red and blue outfits could be updated a bit.

While we are at it Eleazar why don't we just take away the seatbelts and lapbars so everyone can fit. Hey if were lucky they will leave the handels so at least we can hold on.

101 on Magnum and counting...
Maybe when he stops posting about the damn seatbelts I will be nicer.

I would certainly like to see a log flume really soon.
Put some of those 25 cent water spray guns overlooking Thunder Canyon.
I think Soak City is overdue for a new slide of some sort. SC hasn't changed much the past couple years and I get sort of a blah feeling when I'm there.
Wow, I guess I don't ask for much. I'm very pleased with Cedar Point as it is. :)

Glad I found this thread so I dont have to start a new one.
There is just ONE teeny tiny change I would like to make.
Are you all familiar with the place where the "skeleton barber shop quartet" sings during Halloweekends? It's on this stage by a historic train engine...well, wouldnt a REAL barbershop quartet singing there fit in with the frontier theme perfectly? And, when Halloweekends comes around it would be so much funnier to have the bones...
I can hear the first song now..." I lost my lunch....on Millenium Force...." (if you know barbershop, that little clip could sound pretty funny? ;) )
Just my 2 cents
Promoter of fog.
- $1 drinks would kick so much ass.
- I know it would never happen but have the FrightZone by MF open year round (because nothing is really back there now except the shops)
- Park open later. Till' Midnight everynight

YES! lower the prices on all food and refreshements. At least the drinks. The machines are ridiculously overpriced. $2.50 for a bottle of Pepsi????? At least be reasonable, 1.50 or 1.75 would be fine. the 25 cent cotten candy was a start.
That was already done for this year.... the pop was $3 a bottle, and countless other food prices dropped through out the park.
