Changes to TTD's site

Not sure if anyone has noticed it yet, but CP has obviously changed some stuff on TTD's website in conjunction to the record being broken. For instance, on the "Facts" subpage off of the "The Specs" page, on the top it now says "....on ONE OF the tallest and fastest roller coasters in the universe!" Then as you go to the fun facts page, it now says "With the addition of the 420-foot-tall, 120-mph Top Thrill Dragster in 2003, Cedar Point reclaimed the world record of being home to the tallest and fastest roller coaster on planet Earth at that time." I don't really think anyone cares, but this is just something to note.

I agree.
I'll admit that I don't like SF(for my own reasons), but I dont think we should start talking about them or their coasters.
Instead of talking about why I dislike them, I just quietly let it fester inside me where it can slowly turn into a hatred. :)

Personally, I don't care what SFMM's website says other than they'll be open Sunday for me to go visit and hopefully get ride #2 on X.

Looks like Walt's predictions weren't that far off...

HAHA GADV already has a TTD Vs. KDK Thread, I especially like the part where someone stated "Yeah thoes Ohio Hicks are patient, but not us New Yorkers that cant handle breakdowns" I found that funny

Yeah but some of those comments from that Makel person just.....hurt. I don't think we're that mean about KK. If anything I think we have sort of "warmed up" to KK....kind of.

Plus he's waaaaayyyy wrong on the whole CP and TTD maintenance issue. :)

I'm far from a fanboy, but I like both parks (never been to GADV but I know I'll love it). In fact, if you read my post enough, you will find that I didn't even mention Kingda Ka. I so wanna ride it, though. Like I said, no one cares if records are broken or not. Coasters are coasters and we all love them. Records are just bragging rights.

You are very right. But when you said "Like I said, no one cares if records are broken or not." I think you forgot the people(like me) that actually do care.
Although we Dragster fans will just have to(or eventually have to)let go of that record which, if you think about it, was held longer than MF's. So that does mean something.
We will still have those On ride photos, T-shirts, hats, and other stuff that says "Tallest and Fastest".

But all good things must come to an end........

I just hope for the pride of this site that a discusion like that does not start here.

I hope you guys appreciate a moderated board. You see what can happen otherwise. :)
