Changes: Magnum platform gates?

Listed on virtual midway at http://www.virtualmidway.com/features/2004preview/new.asp Walt mentions new platform gates for Magnum. Does this just mean new air gates or does it mean that they'll no longer allow 100 people into the station anymore? If the latter, that'd be great!

2004 Stats coming........after May 8th

Since the Magnum gates were new last year (?) and the article doesn't mention the new gates installed for this year on Gemini, I'm guessing that it was a typo and should have said Gemini. Not MagnumXL200.

...Unless, of course, they are reconfiguring the Magnum platform again, moving the co-dispatch console from its absolutely idiotic location at Load 6 to either Unload 6 (which makes sense) or Unload 1 (where it belongs, dammit)... :)

That was the info that was passed along to me. It's possible that it could actually be Gemini (as was talked about over the off-season) or perhaps something else happening at Magnum.

We'll know for sure in a few days!

And Dave, you'll be happy to know that ride ops will still be parking the trains at Gemini this year. None of that Mine Ride PLC parking crap. But sadly they will not be running more than 4 trains.

I'm sure night maintenance is happy. ;-)
