Change picture size/format

I have a pic I would like to use as my avatar, but I don't know how to change it to .GIF format. Can someone help me? ;p thank you

You need a photo editing program.

Open the pic, and then use the "Save As" option. You should be able to change the file type in a drop down menu at that point.

MS Paint should be adequate.

I'm glad this thread got started. I almost thought about doing it myself, only I've already posted my quota of "How do I wipe my ass?" threads. No wise cracks, please. ;)

Ha ha! I did it! It took half a dozen back and forths between MS Paint and my account to get it to work, but there it is. This is me, in all my tiny, poorly resolved glory. :)

I figured I wouldn't make you feel lonely. I'm still trying to figure out why you had to make it so pixelated to get it that size though.

If you want to e-mail it to me, I can try to edit it down with a decent resolution. If you don't still have my e-mail either PM or IM me.

If you have rats in your basement you can print it out and put it in the corner. A lot of good an Olde English "D" is going to do you.
