Challenge Park Admission

I am confused with what Challenge Park is exactly. I see it from Maggie's lift every time, and know what is there, but how do you get there, and does it cost extra admission?
No, like I recently found out, there is no separate admission.  You don't even have to be in Soak City or CP to get in.  It's kind of like a barrier in between the two parks, and since you pay for each attraction in Challenge Park, anyone can go in.  If you keep walking towards Soak City from Magnum, you'll enter it.  There's go-karts(Triple Challenge Racway?), putt putt golf, Ripcord, and soon Vertigo.

Every attraction in Challenge Park costs an extra admission, but they're all lumped together as "Challenge Park." I agree, it can be confusing if you think well, they're all part of Challenge Park, so there must be an admission to that area... But no, you can walk around each one to take a look without paying a fee unless you want to play/use it.

If I decided to go to Challenge Park, would I just be allowed to walk back to the regular park again when I was ready to leave.

Yes. It's the entrance/exit that leads to Soak City, near the Magnum on ride photo booth. Just make sure you get your hand stamped for re-entry.

Challenge Park: No admission needed. However everything there has a seperate price. Don't forget to get there early for Ripcord to make reservations.

Don't let life fly by.

A question on that -- will Vertigo require/recommend the same sorts of reservations as Ripcord? I know the capacity is higher, but especially with it being a new attraction, it would make it easier to schedule reservations.

Actually... VertiGo's capacity could be argued as
the same as RipCord...

6 seats on VertiGo

2 Towers on Ripcord times (up to) 3 flyers per
tower, is 6 as well.

But anyways... considering they're having the
"Double Dare" tickets where you pay one price and
get a flight, and a shot, I'd guess they expect
you to reserve your shot, just like you would
your flight.

Just my thoughts.

Jeff

No way, a Vertigo ride is wayy quicker and it won't take much time at all to re-shoot.
