Cementing the Midways

As I sit here in my boredom reading the posts about queue line cement being laid over at MF, a question about the rest of the Midways struck me that hasn't been discussed in a while. A while ago, CP made their position known regarding asphault pavement on the midways. They stated that over the next few years, sections of the park would be redone in cement until the entire park was asphault free. I believe the only remaining areas of focus are now Frontier Trail and the Oceana Midway. Questions is: It seems that with the construction of MF directly affecting Frontier Trail especially at MF's crossover point, CP would redo that entire midway in cement. Anyone heard anything regarding this issue?

Yes. A lot of new concrete has been poured on the main midway, and lots of new concrete is to go in on Frontier Trail. They were working on priming the FT for concrete today. I don't remember if the concrete had been laid for the crossover yet. *** This post was edited by bobthetomato on 4/14/2000. ***
