^^ Okay, so September. I'm bad with my months. Ah, Novi, the land of even more rich people :)
^ It was snow, which scares the crap outta me. As I recall it wasn't much, but it accumulated for a time. I personally do not like winter, mainly for the condition of the roads and the frigid temps.
You guys call that a snowfall? Sure, it snowed, but it didn't accumulate at all.
Well, that same day I was out in Howell at work and we got 4 inches in about 2 hours that covered everything. Yes, I call that significant snowfall. Anyone who has been in 2 or 3 inches/hour snowfall probably agrees :)

Pfffft. I grew up in Boston. When I was 5 years old, I woke up one day to the heaviest snowfall I'd ever seen. Wound up with almost 4 feet of snow after that blizzard was over.
I'd call THAT an accumulation. :)

Try being in Traverse City, MI. We get it pretty bad here, no thanks to the two bodies of water surrounding us of course.

^^ Yes, there is a thermometer up there somewhere (I want to say its in Marquette) that measures the know....in FEET. I think its around 12 feet tall. So don't even bother the northerners with trifles about inches.
Personally, I'm looking forward to the snowfall this weekend.

The snowmeter is between Calumet and Copper Harbor. There are markings showing the records for various years. I'm prepared to offer $1,000,000 for whoever can reach the highest marker. ;)
ADDED:
FYI, the snowmeter is located about 3 hours north-ish of Marquette.

I couldn't remember if it was up that far or down in a more traveled area.
Either way it is pretty cool.

I think that might be snow. :)Does anyone else think its odd that all the rides are still working on the banner? I love how they make the background change for day and night, so it would be cool if the ride movement was tied into the park schedule.
Did they do that last year?
Yes. the only ride last year that was disabled in the banner was SkyHawk, and it was activated on opening day.

I think they should even have it tied to the park schedule during the operating season. I'm sure its not really that hard. Seeing how much effort and detail they put into the rest of the site, I'm sure their webmaster could do it very easily. It would be a nice detail.
I'll be sure to forward him your posts and tell him to hurry up and get on it "cause Tim said so". :)
Boy exit, you are on a roll today. Nobody is safe from the wrath of EXIT. ;)

Yeah, and its too bad you know me well enough to. LOL!! Seriously though, get your friend on that ASAP!! :)
I don't think the webmaster has anything to do with the actual design of the webpage. CP has a separate company that handles the back-end stuff. I think they had a job req open last winter looking for coders.

Yes, John - That would be the webmaster. :)
The company is located right here in the lovely town of Wadsworth, and shares office space with the company I used to manage IT for.
