With the way Cedar Point has been going with getting new rides, areas and other things, should Cedar Point tear out the stuff in Soak City and just put in a all new water park? I think they should since its the only area that hasnt seen any major work in years. And it could give them more of a chance to add more stuff to it.
Your future is whatever you make it. So make it a good one.
I say that they should take out some of the Water Park. They also could move out a few rides in Challenge Park. Keep the Skyscraper and the Ripcord that doesn't take much space. That is what I would do for some more area of CP.

If it aint broke, don't fix it! Soak City continues to see steady attendance summer after summer. The park is not going to dump money into it until attendance drops off.

All you have left then is the go-kart track. Which also does not take up a lot of space, or at least space that could be used in another way. Challenge Park is also fine the way it is.
I would not remove a water park. It just needs some things replaced with modern water rides.
I think they should move the camper village to the worker housing area. This would make more space for other future rides.
Ripcord takes up a lot of space. They should move Skyscraper inside the park. In my opinion, there is so much space on where the challenge park is now. Just take out the two car rides in the front & put Grand Prix, Ripcord, and Skyscraper there. Soak City could expand or the amusement park could also.

I didnt say remove it. I just said that they needed to get all water rides. This seems to be the only area Cedar Point has not really touched when it came to spending money on new stuff.

That argument does not hold water with me. Lots of water parks continue to see gains every year and people continue to pay for them. But, they still upgrade their parks. Boomerang Bay for example was doing just fine, but Paramount saw an opportunity to upgrade that portion of the park.
Its that "people will pay" mentality that Kinzel has that will ultimately hurt the company as we have seen with hotels and the number of people through the gates this year. You don't need to look at numbers to see that, just look at how Cedar Fair scrambled at the end of the year offering low admission prices and season pass 'bring a friend' perks. Something I have not seen Cedar Point do in the past.
Soak City isn't, nor has it really ever been, a prime destination/attraction on the peninsula. Its more like an additional offering for resort guests. And if they're going to do any resort-side improvements, SC should be way, way down the list. Its fine. No, its not state of the art or anything, but it serves its purpose well.
I should add that I'd love to see improvements to SC, but not at the expense of other areas where the park clearly needs to improve.

I am not a big water park person, so I could care less about soak city.
Soak city has seen some upgrades in the past few years. Just look at the big water play structure they just put in a few years ago.
I agree that they need to improve other areas of the park before adding anything to soak city. Why fixed whats not broke.
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
