Is there timing for this posted anywhere? I.e. time to start, time end, times at castaway bay, etc.

It states the start time is 10am and it ends at 5pm. It also says the schedule is being finalized.

All the info they have is just a click away....

Does anyone know what the deal is that Castaway Bay is giving to the people who attend?

Rate is $129 for Friday night and $169 for Saturday night. Prices do not include tax. Includes waterpark admission. You'll get information on how to get the rate on the order confirmation page.

And if one didn't happen to see that on the order confirmation page...?

I assume that's for a Starfish room, whee.

Final schedule has not yet been determined. The goal is to start at 10:00 a.m., but that can change based on how many people we need to accommodate.

Thanks for the info Walt.

Also, even though there is no stated limit, is there a limit really? I'd like to think this was a more intimate tour than say a herd of a thousand people strolling around, trying to hear one guy talking at the front.

Also, just to be clear for planning (and because I'm far too impatient to wait for a more accurate schedule), is it park first, then Castaway Bay? They mention "lunch," so it's a little confusing, unless lunch is like 4pm.

Even if 'lunch' is at 4 or later....I would still prefer lunch after the tour....after you've walked the park in the cold/wind, their steaming hot chicken-noodle soup was SSSOOO good and warm! Lol
One year we came back to Breakers and they had a huge container of hot chocolate for us while we waited to get in for lunch-that was MUCH appreciated

Also, in the past few years, it hasn't been quite that late, so unless they are swamped with an amount of people, I would assume it would be about the same as before.

Last year they split the group into two - one had lunch/Q&A first while the other toured, then they switched. Once we've got a handle on group size, Tony will be able to come up with a plan that makes the most sense.

The format last year was very organized and worked great. I'd be curious how many people attended last year? The excitement of a new major coaster is not around this year so I wonder if the interest will be as strong.

We raised exactly $7,000 last year, so that put us at 175.

I have no idea if anyone saw this....but, Good Morning America did a story about a project at "Give Kids the World". Was about some remodeling with Ty Pennington. Hopefully po!ntbuzz can match or exceed the total from last year.

Hi Walt....I know there is still a few days to go to register, but, I was just curious as to how many have signed up for the tour this year. Just about a week to go...and we are all ready to head North! :)

Looks like it's going to be warm for us...maybe a bit rainy, but, that's OK. Maybe we can pull out our CP blue rain ponchos?

We'll make an announcement at the event as to the total amount raised.

Hey Walt, I won't be able to go because of my work schedule, but I was wandering If I could still donate?

Looks like even if I go I'll still be here for the event, looks like I'll be signing up. Military looking to move me a week or so after, should be a fun bittersweet visit.
