Cedar Point Themeing

I just got back from Islands of Adventure. They have some great rides there. But this is a Cedar Point forum so this is my thought. IOA has the best themeing of any park on the planet. The lines are themed and everything. I still think CP is better. Why doesnt Cedar Point have any themeing in thier lines or on thier rides?

How long were the lines?

There wernt very long lines. It was kinda cold though.

My family keeps on telling me the reason we are going to Universal Studios and not IOA is because there will be long lines. Okay, we are going on a holiday weekend, wouldn't you expect there to be long lines.

I bet it won't seem cold, though. It's freezing up here in Michigan and anything 20 degrees warmer will make it feel like summer.

Perhaps part of the reason that CP doesn't have the themeing on par with some of the other parks is because of the age of the park -- CP was not designed around Raptor, for instance, and as decades pass and rides are torn down, radically different rides are put in their place, and themeing would make that much more costly and time-consuming! The coasters in Orlando are very new and the parks were designed with them in mind, giving them much more leeway for spacing and so forth to add themeing.
