Darn... I knew it would come down to this eventually... hard descision, i dont wanna make but i think i will have to keep magnum and leave the force. on the foggy nights when the 2nd hill looks like it goes into the lake, the long, apprehensive wait to get to the top, the long,ever-steepening drop, i think magnum stays.

The Tale of the Tape....


History: Magnum made history by being the first hypercoaster. It spawned the modern day coaster wars. Advantage: Magnum

Placement: Both coasters boast magnificent views by the lake, both make you think you are going into the lake. These qualities are enhanced by the sheer height of the structures. Officially a Draw.

Structure: Both dominate the skyline, but Millennium Force's profile causes your head to lose its eyeballs as one drives down the causeway. MF has the coolest trains period. The best lift hill too, IMO - none like it anywhere. Plus, MF has the light show:) Advantage: Millennium Force

Thrills: Both rides offer world class thrills. Magnum boasts ejector seat air on the return trip home on the beach. Millennium Force boasts the best first drop on the planet (bigger IS better in this case), unrelenting speed, and is brakeless:) until the end of the ride (double bonus points here). I'm beginning to see a pattern here....Advantage: Millennium Force.

magnum.

MF is a good ride but the only thing I really like about it is the first hill, the rest just doesnt do much for me. The magnum is a thrill from beginning to end.
