Cedar Point Sounds!

Well, last season I went around with my little MP3 player and decided to record the many sounds of Cedar Point. I was unfamiliar with its operation at the time, but I got much of Millennium Force, Disaster Transport, Power Tower, Wicked Twister, the Train, Magnum XL-200, and Mean Streak. Any on-ride recordings were done not holding the player.

This sound pack includes Ride Spiels, On-Ride Sounds, and other assorted tidbits. They are all in MP3 format.

I do have to apologize for the quality of the sound, although it is pretty good, there are people at the point at all times, and a lone sound is not available. Not to mention, I was recording them on an MP3 player, hehe.

If you do Walt, you should see if you can get some pre-opening (i.e. before the gates open and people flood platforms) time to do a decent recording without all the crowd noise drowning out the spiels.

I woulld not want ALL crowd sounds removed. After all, crowd noise is part of the experience.

the magnum lift hill is probably my favorite. along with the millennium force station stuff.

the top thrill dragster launch makes me smile and sends chills up my spine thinking about it.
