I would imagine that you can find them in just about any gift shop ... but I don't think you need to worry about getting wet this weekend, other than perhaps a scattered thunderstorm.

Snake River Falls and Thunder Canyon have carts in or near their queues that sell rain ponchos for sure. People wear them on water rides so they don't get wet, makes sense.

Or, you could go to your local dollar store and get them for about half the price you would pay for one in the park. Unless you just have to have a rain poncho that says Cedar Point on it.

Yes, we must have a CP logo on everything!

agreed! i was in desperate need of a wallet last time i was there, the only one i could find had "CP" inside a hexagon in a horrible font... its really unattractive, but hey, its a souvenier right!

anyway thanks for the poncho advice, im glad to hear that local forecasters aren't expecting as much rain as weather dot com was the last time i checked...

Do you know the Skyride loading station closest to the front of the park? The gift shop under it sells blue ponchos that say Cedar Point in white on the back.
I hate how they sell ponchos in the water ride ques. If you dont want to get wet, why are you riding a water ride?
I bought a poncho one day because it was the beginning of the season, very cold, very wet, and very windy. I was tired of being wet so I bought one at the nearest store... I put it on and all of a sudden it cleared up. It cleared up so quickly that it took me by surprise! I put the poncho away and used it for a year afterwards to ward away future rainstorms.
I took it to Indiana Beach with me one time and noticed something written on it. The package says manufactured in China for a company that was out of Fort Wayne, IN! The ponchos are distributed by a place right here in the town I live in! I could have probably gotten 12 dozen for the price I paid for one... oh well, at least I have something to keep the rain away from the parks I go to! *** Edited 8/26/2004 11:06:26 PM UTC by beccaraptor***
