Cedar Point Prestige Pass - Bring A Friend - Expires 6/30/25

Anyone else have the prestige pass? I got 3 prestige passes, and by signing up by a certain date you get 1 extra bring a friend per pass, as well as the 2 included with the pass. The only problem is these all expire by 6/30/25. Does anyone else see this same early expiration?

On the main Cedar Point website for passes it makes no mention of the regular 2 free BAF passes expiring 6/30/25. It just states 2 free BAF passes annually. Why would they set them to expire so early?

I am hoping Guest Services can extend at least 2 of these per pass to match the website description. I bought these passes thinking I could bring my brother and family sometime in July or August.

How do I redeem my free Bring-A-Friend?

Present your valid Prestige Pass at the admission gate, and you and your guest will be admitted to the park. The Prestige Bring-A-Friend benefit is good for two visits during the pass validity. You may use the two free visits on the same day or use one visit on two separate days. Bring-A-Friend tickets are good for Cedar Point or Cedar Point Shores. Feel free to use one or the other. However, if you use one for Cedar Point and one for Cedar Point Shores, you have then used your two for the season.

Nevermind, I am an idiot lol. The passes included for renewal I can see on the app. I guess the 2 BAF passes you typically can't see on the app, are good all season and you just tell the person to use them when entering

Yeah I only did summer pass this year and got the one free ticket expiring 6/30. Was a nice bonus since the wife is sitting this pass year out we can still go.

When you use your prestige pass for the bring a friend tickets make sure you specify at the gate which one of the tickets you would like to use. As was already mentioned the 2 included with the pass itself are good all year as well as any park if you have the all park passport. I always use whatever bring a friend ticket is closest to expiring and try to save the 2 included with the pass just in case.

Speaking of Prestige Pass, we get one free, one-time-use FL+ each time we go. On Monday I went for my first-ever rides on TT2 and used my early entry time for a good spot in line, thinking that I would use my FL for a ride later in the day. I wound up doing two standby laps right away and saved my FL for something else, but in the meantime I wondered how one goes about using it at TT2. Whether you have your pass on a card (mine) or on your phone they make it quite clear that you’re to have neither in your hand or pocket when you get to the TSA. So I asked the person at the entrance to the outside queue & lockers and she didn’t know. Then I asked the person at the security check entrance and he didn’t know either. The suggestion was that I go to guest relations and ask. I had noticed most of the Courtesy Corp stations were removed but found the one still near Back Beat and guess what? He didn’t know either. (He gave me an “apology” hard ticket FL that I didn’t really need, so thanks, but I still didn’t have an answer) Later in the day I was in Frontiertown at Ken’s old post by Town Hall and the guy there did know! Jeez, finally.
TLDR: to use your Prestige FL on TT2 go to guest relations and they will scan your Prestige Pass and print a FL ticket for you to surrender at the entrance of any ride. Done.
Maybe some of you knew this already but if not I did the heavy lifting (walking, actually) for you, lol. And it occurred to me that last season we had to get the paper voucher to use anywhere, then not much later in the season it was fixed to work on the actual pass. Good news and much easier, but by that time TT2 was done for the season and my guess is no one considered this when setting and adjusting the weird queue/locker situation there.

Go to the TT2 gift shop :) That’s where I redeem mine each time

If you're staying at, or happen to be near Hotel Breakers, you can also get the slips from the gift shop near the entrance. They can also get any other redemptions you may have like FL wristbands, food wristbands, etc.
