I've been collecting these from my first year going to the point back in 2001, here's my collection, starting from 2001 up to this year. Didn't go in '02 or '09.

Very cool collection. My favorite is the park map with Blue Streak and Dragster together. Also found it funny on the one getaway guide there was a promotion for resort guests getting in early to ride Millennium Froce and Top Thrill Dragster, I wonder how much riding was actually done on Dragster during that time.

Love the collection. I remember the 2005 one with Castaway Bay and maXair advertised.

My mother threw out my pre-2005 collection. I had a bunch. :( But, I do get to hold this over her head for years now. :)

Thanks, nice collection there CorkScrew. I should put mine in a poster frame. The first three brochures I got off of ebay, don't remember were to find them at today? Maybe the AAA store in Sandusky, or the Ohio turn pike rest stop? Yeah most people would have been disappointed in Top Thrill Dragster running in the morning, or was suppose to. ;)
Here's a group picture of all the copy's I have :)

I usually find mine up in Frankenmuth. I think I need to frame my Getaway Guides, now that I think of it. :)

I'll look the next time I go, which will be in Oct. I tried putting my maps in a poster frame, and when you stand it up the top one's fall down behind the bottom ones. I can put tape on them, I think I'll just keep them a box. :)

I have all the CP park guides dating back to 2002. I have them stored in an old shoebox for safe keeping.

Awesome collection man. Do you know of any place where you can get park maps from earlier years?

After my first trip to the park, I became obsessed with roller coasters and the park itself. I would take my foldable map, open it up, and just lay on my bed, staring at it for hours. I would trace each roller coaster's layout and memorize it, along with where everything in the park was. Keep in mind, I was around 7 years old at the time. Within a few months the map became wrinkled, worn, and there was a big hole in the middle. Also, that was before high speed internet really became popular and our family computer had dial-up, and everything would take a really long time to load, especially videos. I remember just sitting at the computer, watching the bar that shows how much a video has loaded, for every POV of the roller coasters at CP. It never took less than an hour for one POV to load. But once it did I would watch it over and over again, and I did this for each coaster for a few years before we got high speed internet. Seeing all these maps and brochures brought back all these fun memories.

That's a neat collection. I wish I had saved mine from the times I went as a little kid.
