Cedar Point On TV

Well, I'm kind of pissed off that they only run specials on Coasters of the West. I'm talking about the Travel channel...and Discovery Channel. Does anybody know when they will run the special on Cedar Point.

For some reason i keep trying to E-mail them...i just get an auto response and no answer.

They have actually ran more programs featuring the Point than the west coast. Keep watching.

Trust me Big D, When the Discovery Channel has a special on rollercoasters (not coasters of the west), you will see more of Cedar Point than any other park featured. It just goes to show that Cedar Point is the place to be. But it would be nice if they would stop playing that "Coasters of the West" show.

"Twisted Sister" is the name of the new rollercoaster at Cedar Point for 2003. Just watch!

Last time i was watching it...we had a thunder storm and all the power went out. I didnt even get through half of it. Discovery Channel rarely does Anything on coasters.

Also, They should really update them already with new ones. They still say that CP has 14 coasters.

We're talking about the Discovery Channel, there's a reason it's not called the "Coaster Channel". They already do quite a bit on coasters considering all the other things that they could do, and you can't expect them to do much more.

You could always buy the video of the Cedar Point Discovery special on cedarpoint.com - remember, that includes the "exclusive footage" of CP's plans for the future!

A "coaster channel" would be great! What a way to get through the off season. Anyone know any cable execs? I think we have an idea going here!
Does anyone have the Cedar Point video that Majin Heero wrote about? What does the "exclusive footage show? A while back I saw a show that they showed a pretty quick glimps of what I'm almost sure was Wicked Twister.
This is a little off topic, but do you think with Cedar Point starting #16 in August that it might get a little bit of coverage on the 2003 shows?

A coaster channel? I think the Travel Channel will be the closest we'll get for a while, even though I do like the idea.

Sometime early this summer, Discovery Channel was at Cedar Point filming, they spent an entire morning on Gemini and we couldnt open until around noon. they told us they would let us know when it was going to air and it should be sometime in november, however i have heard nothing, and emails to them are useless because as few of us have found they either "dont know what we are talking about" or we get an autoresponse. has anyone heard anything about when that show might air?

IMHO I doubt it. Maybe if Intamin gave the producers the sort of access to their manufacturing facility that Morgan and GCI gave them for past coaster specials...but I don't think they'll get it. You'll see more in '04 after they shoot the finished product and get their post-production completed.
