Cedar Point needs riders - Thursday and Friday

I did the photo shoot last summer. It was pretty cool, but they never used any of the material, at least I don't think. Toward the end it started severely thunder storming, and we had to rush into this office where we were explicitly told not to look in any doors and to look straight ahead and out. Pretty cool.

I signed up for this as kind of a goof, knowing I'd be going to the park today. I got an email right away telling me I was in and to show up no later than 7:30 am. Oh. I was afraid it would be an early shoot as I live in Columbus and the fastest I might make it to CP is 2.5. But I dutifully set my alarm for 4, it went off, and I hit it and rolled over. ZZZZzzzzz.....
I sent an email apologizing for the no show and got a funny response from John Ross, who seems like a nice guy who's on top of it.

I got to the park shortly after 9 and it seemed like Valravn and MF were closed. I didn't go by Maverick. And in the end I was glad I didn't do the shoot as it was to last til around noon and it was so hot and muggy (yes, Josh, it was) it would've been miserable. The park was pretty busy today and storms were coming and going, some at a distance and some a lot closer.
