I'm 15 years old currently and have been thinking about getting a personalized license plate devoted to Cedar Point. Does anybody have any good ideas, or have you seen anything in the past?

I had CEDRPNT for 10 years before giving it up in March.

there are many Cedar Point/rollercoaster license plates. Coastermania brings quite a few of them to the parking lot.

My MI plate says CEDRPNT.

Depends on how many letters/numbers you can use for your specific state.

I know in Michigan, when you apply for the plate, they will let you know if that certain plate is available.

Take a few different "plate" ideas with you so you have options if your first option is taken.

Keep in mind that it's $100 a year for a custom plate in Ohio now.

I had "I love CP" for a couple years. Nobody knew what it meant outside of CP. It got mistaken for Cleveland Police and a few other things that i cant post on here.

2008 visits = 38, 2009 = 19, 2010 = 11, 2011 = 14, 2012 = 10, 2013 = 14, 2014 = 14, 2015= 13, 2016 = 11, 2017 = 5, 2018 = 3

Somebody that had a custom plate that said "GET2CP" almost hit me twice a couple years ago while driving to the park because they were too impatient to get there. Needless to say, I'm a little biased about people having custom CP license plates now ;)

Yeah, I got the renewal this year for my vanity plate, and couldn't believe how much it was. I suppose I'm not entirely surprised (I still paid it), but a hundred bucks is pretty insane.

The cheapest I ever paid was $75 when I first started getting them 12+ years ago. Past couple of years it has creeped up to the $90+ mark. My wife's is over $100 since they are personalized logo plates, HW RULZ. My old ones were CP RULZ, which is now hanging in Famous Dave's.

OH allows 7 letters & numbers. You can go online and lookup availabilty.

WOW! Michigan charges $15 extra for renewing a personalized license plate, $30 for getting a new personalized plate! But I guess we make it up with the prices we charge for gas....

JW Addington, I don't remember what he was wearing since it was in either '09 or '10. But I don't think it was Single Rider Bob pushing his way through this time.

I would assume Michigan license plates are a lot cheaper since it isn't required to have a 2nd license plate on the front of your car. But $30 for a new personalized plate is really cheap.

^^Michigan isn't the only place with crazy gas prices. NE Ohio has been pretty bad lately. Luckily it's been going down (earlier today I saw $3.65) from the $4 mark.

I believe $50 is the "special plate fee" or whatever they call it. The total renewal cost was just north of $100 for me last year.

And for the record, SCRMSTR is pretty much a CP plate, right? :)
