Cedar Point items on Ebay

For all of you Cedar Point collectors this thread is for you. What is the most that you have spent on a Cedar Point item at Ebay. Or what's the most that you saw a CP item go for. Right now there is a Cedar Point brochure from 1976 going for $55.00. Also what kind of unique items have you won the auction on Ebay. I have two unique items that I have won auctions on. One is a Huber Manufactoring Farm Machinery ribon. It's from an employee day at Cedar Point. It has the date of August 21, 1897 on the bottom. eBay has helped out my CP collection a lot. The most I payed was $50 (the price of the item plus shipping) for the 1986 wall calander. Now I would have gladly paid double for it, becuase it is simple an awesome shot and I love it.

I've gotten quite a few things.

I think the most I paid was like $47.00 for the Banshee Press kit. I have also bought many other Banshee buttons, various keychains, an employee recruitment poster, tickets for friends, a Mantis pin, as well as a Magnum 10th Anniversary button (Thanks Dan.)

There are quite a few things on eBay but you might as well go to the park to get the Real items!

I am not sure the most I have paid for a CP item. Maybe $25 for a ticket for my friend. I did see an employee uniform like mine that was currently selling for $35 (I paid $35 for mine). I never checked back to see what it sold for.

I have bought older CP mugs ($2-$5), but not only has ebay been great, but estate sales are where you find the real gems!

My Raptor sweatshirt ($15) is unique. Not a lot of those around anymore (why I don't know). And my "Joe Ghoul" sweatshirt ($10). Never seen one like it!

Two of my greatest loves in life, Cedar Point and Ebay. Combine them together to get some super-mutant, straight out of a comic book nemesis. Opening a Paypal account was the biggest mistake I've ever made in my life.

Cedar Point merchandise: the best kind of merchandise out there! I'm heading to the park in a week and I'm bringing plenty of American cash. Being Canadian, I love to see American money because I think it looks so much better than ours, all bills crisp and green, although I don't really like the new 20s with the security features. Our Canadian money has blue (5), purple (10), green (20), pink (50), and brown (100) and quite frankly it looks like plan money, although they redid the 20s, 50s, and 100s recently with a nice silver strip and they have improved for the better.

Sorry, back on topic. When I'm a the park this time I plan on buying Cedar Pointopoly, a bunch of t-shirts, shot glasses because I collect them, and anything else that looks cool. I'm also a sucker for the pressed pennies!

Just take Monopoly money with you next time you go to the store. You really can't tell the difference.

If RaptorQueen had respawned the thread, at least she contributed to it and that is fine. Coolman01231 brought up an old thread just to post something that didn't have to do with the question being asked (What is the most you've spent for a CP item on Ebay?). That is called having too much time on your hands.

I thought it was weird when "Magnum" Dan had the second post, I didn't even notice the date until I read his.

In response to the post though, I think I had paid 15 bucks or so for one of the original suede bill Raptor hats. I had gotten 2 of them back in 94/95 era and lost both of them (one on Corkscrew when I put my head back into my seat and knocked the hat off). It's sad to see someone selling all that stuff. I hope it's not because of money issues. So many memories lost.
