Found this link to a story about a guy who wins the carnival games -- and the story takes place at Cedar Point.

I won a PS3 at KI a few years ago on the 3-point shot game (hit all 12 shots), but I was already the third person to do it that year.
I've not won it at CP yet... there is always enough wind, and WAAAAY over-inflated basketballs, that I haven't been able to break 14 points.
We were there when that gentleman was being filmed. He is VERY good at what he does and it's fabulous that he's kind enough to give everything away. Watching him in action was tremendous.
People are always surprised about how infrequently the 3 Point Challenge game has perfect scores. To the best of my knowledge only three Cedar Fair parks have had someone get 15 points at the 3 Point Challenge:
Kings Island - 13 times (four people have done it but one individual has eight of those)
Cedar Point - 4 times (one individual has them all)
Knotts - once
Six Flags has only had six winners at all of their parks since they've offered the game. Six Flags Great Adventure was going to offer a car for a perfect game a few years ago before deciding against it. Busch Gardens Tampa has given away a scooter and two jet skis at various times as bonus prizes for people who've gotten perfect games (the second jet ski was there for a year and a half before someone won, which I find amazing for a park with a year-round operation.) Getting 15 points is really hard!
Well the game is not on a 10foot hoop. so if you spend all your time in a gym playing on a normal hoop. then go play on a smaller hoop your shot will be all off
