Cedar Point font

Does anyone know where I can download the CP font. I like the way it looks and would like to have it installed on my PC.

yeah i would like to know also, and also the MF and Magnum fonts, I can't find maggies anywhere, it seemes like such an easy font to make.

Are you talking about the wavy design of the logo font?  A lot of logo's that include words, are design with simple font's that can be founf on your computer, and using Word Art in an Office program. I've recreated the CP logo using Microsoft Office.  It might put a damper for finding fonts, but it opens a whole new world of writing in those designs..... :)

The font that is used for Magnum, I believe, is an italic version of the "Star Trek: The Next Generation" lettering -- if you search for "star trek fonts" you'll come up with loads of freeware and shareware sites that will allow you to download it.  At least, that's the font I'm picturing embedded into the station platform...

I found the font! The Cedar Point logo (and most of the other CF parks) is a variation of Clearface Gothic 95 Black. CF added the flags over the "i's" and the apostrophe is changed as well. I'm going to try and edit the font I found to match the CF one. I'll report back, but it'll be a while.

Yep, Clearface Gothic Black, which was also used in the recent logo redesign of a British baking company. What's funny is the reviewer and several commenters on that page mention that it looks more appropriate for the entrance of an amusement park -- not knowing that the same font is indeed used for that purpose. :)
