It says "unlock a secret thrill". What this means is that if you're one of the winners of this contest, you will experience whatever the secret grand prize is (I guess it's a thrill, like exclusive rides or something). I read the Rules and Regulations for this contest, they aren't revealing future attractions yet.
If anybody here gets it, you gotta tell us what the "special preview" is. It seems that more and more things are starting to come in about a coaster for 2013, fresh new track at the B&M plant, Matt Ouimet saying there will be $25 million spent in 2013 and hinting about clearing up the beach. And now the "special preview".
Enjoy the rest of your day at America's Rockin' Roller Coast! Ride On!
It can buy a lot of things. Just keep in mind that it's a $25 million capital expenditure (what Ouimet said), not necessarily a $25 million coaster/ride. If I'm not mistaken, Millennium, Dragster and Maverick (as well as all other major rides) were part of a larger capital expenditure put in the park the years they opened. That large expenditure covers the ride and everything associated with it along with other things around the park.
I'm pretty sure that's how it works in a nutshell (someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong).

I was the one who asked the question on Twitter about what the "secret thrill" would be. Part of me hoped it would be something they had been able to keep from us. Especially since I figured it would be the Luminosity announcement and then they went ahead and announced it a couple weeks ago. Then again, I figured it would be a "cookie" type letdown. Hopefully the bit of speculation that the invitations could be to an announcement for 2013 is true.
Either way, Cedar Point has nearly 1 million fans on their Facebook page. Besides Disney and Universal, every other amusement park page on Facebook has somewhere around 200,000 fans. I think that shows how CP is much more well known than most other parks, and is something for the park to be proud of.

I love that the traffic on PointBuzz is fueled primarily by vivid imaginations. :)
