Cedar Point anniversaries

5 years ago: Power Tower
10 years ago: Snake River Falls
15 years ago: Soak City
20 years ago : Demon Drop
25 years ago : Gemini
30 years ago : ? I am not sure anything was new in 1973
35 years ago: Frontiertown, Frontier Lift,
40 years ago: Mill Race, CPLE Railroad

Of these I did everything new up to the Gemini. I did not get to go to CP in 1978. In fact I had to wait until 1980 to ride it. Demon Drop scares me more now then when it was new. I find DD much scarier than Drop Zone or Power Tower. Soak City never really was something at the top of my to do list but the newer additions, especially the Flume Zoom, make SC a lot better.
Snake River Falls is fun. I worked at CP in 1993 and it was a hot summer and we had a lot of beat the heat nights. I actually got to see them officially open it with the vps taking the first ride. Probably still one of the best rides of this type in the world.
Power Tower scared me when I waited in line. The shot is more fun and that's the side I usually ride since the line is usually much shorter. But the drop side is more thrilling. I worked at CP its first year and we had many opportunites to ride the ride before it officially opened to the public.

Wow, then it's the 1 year anniversary for Wicked Twister! 7 year anniversary for Mantis! 9 year anniversary for Raptor! They were all important too! Should I continue...?
