Cedar Point's Live Entertainment department has done it again at the 2003 IAAPA Big E awards. The awards are given out each year to recognize excellence and innovation in live entertainment by the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions at thier annual conference.
Cedar Point went into the awards ceremony with a record eight nominations, a record for not only Cedar Point but the most nominations ever recieved by a single park.
And the winners are:
Heart of Rock and Roll - Best Overall Production in class.
StarStruck! - Best Overall Production in class.
America Rocks - Honorable mention in Production class
and Cedar Point sweeps the Best Female performer division with not only First place but also the honorable mention slot.
Erica Dorfler - Best Female performer (Heart of Rock & Roll)
Rebecca Jo Lightfoot - Honorable mention Best Female performer ( Heart of Rock & Roll)

Watching some of the shows can be every bit as enjoyable as riding, especially when enjoyed with a beer.
It's good to see that they won the awards, the quality of the entertainment deserves such recognition.
