Cedar Point A Big Fat Liar???

I was at Cedar Point Saturday and Sunday. Earlier in the week the ride operaters told me that they would have all three trains running this weekened. Even the lady that is head of Park Operations told me that. The thing I found a little wierd was that, well, they didn't run all three trains. Everybody told me wrong. I'm not sure weather the rollback with the red train had something. Does anyone know the offical news about this?

Ok, how do you know something came up, while they were testing the trains. Yeah, it sucks they cant get a 3train operation, but look at it this way, atleast we can ride it everyday versus SOB which is not still running intil this weekend, and thats not even carved in stone.

CP even misinformed channel 10 news in Columbus that the wait for MF was only 2 hours. I wonder where they came up with that figure? Anyway, that hasn't been my average wait during the week or weekend.

I was at CP today and yesterday, I saw Dan in line for MF and he told me 3 trains were running sunday morning for around an hour. Then they took off the red train, why... We don't know.

The head of park operations according to my mom is Peggy Bertch. I think now that truly ,everyone is lieing to me. My mom must have gotten mixed up. By the way, who is really head of park operations?

For anyone who may not know in Volano's first season it failed to open untill late in the season at which point every other row of seats was removed to get the ride to work, therefore capacity was cut in half.

Would I be correct to say that the head of park operations is named Alex something? And to beat someone to the punch, I'm not suggesting his last name is 'something.' :)

I thought I saw him in the MF station way back on AAA day.

Chill out!! Three trains will be running before too long and crying about it won't help.

I think Peggy has some part of park op, maybe rides, but Bill Spehn is Dir. of Park Operations. I think he has rides, admissions and Challenge Park under his supervision, perhaps even more.

Jeff, can we somehow get a flow chart of park managment?

Just for the record...the wait time at the beginning of the MF line seems to always be 30 to 45 minutes over the actual wait time. So, CP isn't lying about anything. Plus, If CP told you that MF would be open tomorrow, and tomorrow, it rained all day, shutting down MF and most of the other rides all day, would they still be lying? Coasters break down all the time! So, always have a back-up plan, and continue to enjoy the rest of the 100+ attractions at CP!

Bill Sphehn is helarious! He looked like he was going to keel over when all the people who waited in line for MF on Mon got in his face when he said it wasn't opening! Real nice guy though, he gave everybody who waited for 4 hours free passes to go into the other rides through the exit line with zero wait. I was thinking about lying to get one of those golden tickets, but it was already late.
