Enjoy the rest of your day at America's Rockin' Roller Coast! Ride On!
Winter Fest was mentioned. i sure hope Kings Island was in the thought process on that as it was always a great event.

I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.
Ohio boasts a fairly large German-American heritage. An Oktoberfest is a wonderful idea, and another great use for the Lakeside Pavilion.

Oktoberfest used to be a blast at Geauga Lake. That said, I think it and Halloweekends would overlap and I'm sure Halloweekends is the winner of that profit sweepstakes.

Why couldn't they simply coexist? Especially in the early days of Halloweekends, which aren't exactly the peak in terms of numbers. An Oktoberfest is typically sometime in September (Cleveland's is the very first weekend).
It's almost too easy to market. Get local breweries involved, put it the week after Cleveland's so it doesn't take away from that. Lakeside Marketplace would be the absolute perfect venue for this. Lots of kegs, live polka, German food.
Just make sure you don't invite the Elsinore brewery.
