What I doin't get, is how is this any of cedarpoint's problem.

You would think that this would be between the ride companies.

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I know that's what I was thinking it really makes no sense, but then again I am no lawyer.

The funny thing about this patent dispute is that Funtime is doing to others exactly what it is accusing Mondial of doing to it. I was looking at the Funtime website and saw a couple of rides that are total ripoffs of other products. Look at Funtime's Vomatron, a total ripoff of Skyscrapper. The text even says "Vomatron can be described as a giant propeller with seats on each end". The Sky Diver also seems to be extremely close to a Sky Coaster, especially the harness that contains the rider.

This entire patent dispute just seems like Funtime eating a bunch of sour grapes.

I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.

Yeah, I wouldn't think this is Cedar Fair's fault, but if there is a patent problem maybe Mondial is the one to blame. Patent or not, you see similarities come about regardless these days.
