In light of last week's Register article, it's interesting that Cedar Point has bought another piece of property. They must have really wanted it, because the bidding was higher than the estimated cost.
Those who travel the chausee may be familiar with the Baxter property as the last home on the left before the turn to CP. It borders CP's overflow parking area. The property is very large and the house mostly hidden behind a long driveway and some small hills.
The property is zoned residential, though I'm sure if CP ever wanted to do anything with it, that would just be a formality.

Well, they do, across from the Radisson. This place, though, is on the Chausee. Right on the peninsula.

what's this tell you, CP does feel the need for "security" when it comes to expansion.
