Cedar Creek Mine Ride

This ride I sometimes hit during my visits to Cedar Point. Just wondering if you guys on here like this ride or if you wish it was a little faster? For me, I wish it had another good drop. It's not as fast as the Adventure Express at Kings Island, but it's still a decent family coaster.

^ I love Adventure Express. It is really well themed. I love the end. CCMR is pretty good. I wish they put different lapbars on the ride. I like the head chopper effects. I think there should have been a little more after the first drop. Instead of big drop, heilx, then lift hill.

I can't fit so I wouldn't know.

I think CCMR's layout is fine just the way it is. If anything, I wouldn't mind seeing some added theming. A tunnel or two, some nice boulders or even a canyon would really add to the ride experience. CP could even model it after Maverick, since they're both in Frontiertown. Although it would definitely be great if they could update those trains with individual lap bars.

^And more leg room. :)

Well, that's a given. :)

I agree about the individual seat belts, just because you could slide into your partner. The train's are cool the way they are, but if it could be modified, that's what they should add. Cedar Creek by the way has more leg room than Disaster Transport.

Why change the trains on the ride? Most of the time it is smaller kids riding it anyways. And piece of advice if you need extra leg room just sit in the front of each individual car. Problem solved.

I rode CCMR once, and never will ride it again. I think Iron Dragon is more exciting, and that says a lot. lol. I do think it's a great ride for kids though.

LOL I was just thinking... are people on this site actually riding this thing enough times that they have to worry about the lap bars and seat belts? I think I rode it once this year just for the heck of it.

I like CCMR for what it is. I think it's a cool looking ride but could have used some extra theming, boulders or something, like Mike said.

We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
