C.C.I. Woody in the near future?

I was in the park last Friday (8/1/03) waiting for TTD to fire up. A ladie walked up to this guy in line and I notice she had a Name Tag that said,"C.C.I. Area Prep." and it had her name. But she was talking about taking pics in the park for something in 2005. I'm not jumping to any conclusions and any of that nature. Just wondering what peeps thoughts are.

Maybe if C.C.I. was still in business, I would believe you! No, I still probably wouldn't.

C.C.I. is dead. CP couldn't get a C.C.I. woodie even if they wanted one.

Nice try!

Maybe she bought it when they sold of their assets?

Are you sure that the badge didn't say GCI?

Ya it could have been G.C.I. but I doubt it. I wouldn't be too jumpy on it.
Accually, the dinn's sold their rights to S&S making S&S in charge of CCI(Custom coasters international) and Arrow dynamics.

Wrong.

CCI's assets were auctioned off in bankruptcy. S&S hired Denise Dinn, the former president of CCI, for reasons that don't make any sense to anyone except perhaps the people at S&S. She was notorious for not paying vendors on time (I should know, I was one of them) and according to customers, had problems meeting deadlines.

The four primary engineers from CCI went off to start their own company, The Gravity Group. Since forming, they've contracted with Holiday World, and I'm sure are trying to sell some interesting concepts to various parks.

I'm gonna have to go with Rider on this one. I mean, for all we know, it could just be a new drinking fountain or even nothing at all.

Yes, true, but isnt it fun just to think "What If?"

I love that website (the Gravity Group's) with it's quotes like "If you have a long, narrow site available, this may be the best ride style for you". My back yard's pretty long, I think I'll order one or two!

What if it's the world's tallest drinking fountain? Wetting one's whistle at 420ft could be quite exhilarating!

Egg nog... how'd they think that up?
"I want to get a little drunk... but I also want some pankcakes."

I've always thought that a wooden roller coaster (like Shivering Timbers, but not that long) would fit perfectly on the beach. A long narrow wooden rollercoaster! The station would be near Disaster Transport, with the lift hills and turn around between the beach and the parking lot. *it would run along the length of the parking lot, but not be built on the parking lot* I hope you all can see what I'm saying.... it sounds kind of confusing but I know it would work!
Perhaps in your confusion you forgot that Cedar Point's beach is one of its crown jewels?

I think he means the inhabited beach... beside the main poarking lot... but hey, you need to remember that beside the main parking lot there are still residential houses... with thier front yard almost being the parking lot.... it would look awkward there... i say a nice woody would be nice... maybe a small one on the frontier trail and over onto mil. island? thats just a suggestion... just a nice gentle one... not a record breaking coaster... just a little unpainted timbers... and it would fit right into frontier town :)

i want to know why my air conditioning smells like elephant ears!

Sam,
Maybe you should do a little research before you begin telling other people that they are wrong. This is what I found:

Check out the article. A C.C.I. Woody is very possible. In fact, anything's possible @ CP!

But, please, tell me why someone working for The Gravity Group would be wearing a C.C.I. name tag?

Why does the name Chad Miller sound fimiler?

CCI is dead. The Gravity Group guys may have worked for CCI, but they're not CCI (thank God). They're four engineers who frankly have a lot more good sense and business savy.
