Castaway Bay Wait Times

I'm going in January and I'm curious on wait times. How long is it usually take to ride Master Blaster or go on a slide? I'm figuring the times are always probably the same since the park always has the same amount of people booked.

Hm, not sure about that. I'm headed down there for a few days starting tomorrow. However, I doubt "wait time" is really going to be a noticeable issue... it's not like they installed rails for a queue or anything, I don't think. ^_~

I've been to water aprks where I had to stand in ques for twenty minutes to a half hour to get on a slide. Man did that suck.

Blizzard Beach. Summet Plummet. One hour.

It does happen.

We never really have wait times.... when even when the park is packed there isn't usually more than a couple minute wait for Rendevous Run (the master blaster) And the wait gets even shorter when the wave pool turns on... (it has a ten minute on off cycle, on for ten, off for ten) Thats one of the nicest things about castaway, you don't spend half your time in lines. We kinda have a queue though... there is a massive stairway going up it, so it's kinda like an rct3 queue. Same thing with the tropical tube slides, they never have more than a few minute wait either.

Sweet, I was worried that they would overbook the hotel and have long lines.

The wave pool would only make waves for ten minutes at a time? Is that normal at all water parks, or at least indoor-water parks? I guess it makes sense, I just never thought of it like that.

Someone from Soak City correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the Soak City wave pool operates on a ten-minute on, ten-minute off cycle. It is kind of nice that way, because it gives you a chance to recuperate from being thrashed about, and gives people a chance to enter and exit the pool without being bowled over.

And as for lines at Castaway... The only line I had to wait in was for Rendezvous Run, and that was approximately five minutes. The Tropical Tube Slides were a walk-on every time (which is great, because they *absolutely* rule).
