It's like, comparable to twice the cost of a normal hotel room, but you get 4 people in the waterpark, as well as breakfast and a few other amenities!!! I am very pleased and surprised.
The apparently most expensive room, Seahorse Jacuzzi Suite Bayside, has two rooms, accomodates 6 people, and runs for $342. That's only $57 a person!! That is really not bad at all. Imagine splitting that between two families. . .two sets of parents with a kid each, so, that's only $171 per family. :) Haha, sorry, I just think that's a very good deal.
Plus, Cedar Fair has another one-up over Great Bear Lodge. I was wondering how much a night at GBL would cost, so I went to their website -- absolutely HORRIBLE! It was extremely difficult to find information I wanted, and I didn't even end up locating rates. Plus, there is this weird music that loads oddly as you browse. . .not very nice!
I am very excited to watch how Castaway Bay succeeds in the fall, I know it's gonna be great!! Now I just have to talk my parents into coming down and getting a room.

Edit: actually, I'm not so sure these rates are that different. They are a few bucks cheaper, but not much. For example, the low-end suite at GBL is $259---within 10% of the low-end rooms at the Radisson.
