I have family that owns units of FUN, and gets the buy one get one free coupons for admission at Cedar Fair properties.
I was wondering if anyone knew if the buy one night, get one free type coupons that unit-holders have will be honored at Castaway Bay? I would really like to go there this winter, but seeing as I will no longer be employed by Cedar Fair when the park opens, (meaning no free admission, though I doubt CB would count anyway as it is a hotel property), I am looking for the best deal.

The coupon I got was specifically for Castaway Bay. I believe it was issued to anyone with 100 or more units.

Well, at $28 and change a unit it isn't too shabby. A unit is to Cedar Fair what a share of stock is to Coca Cola...but with different rights and/or priviledges.

For all intents and purposes, a unit is a share. CF issues coupons to anyone holding over 100 units. The buy one / get one free coupons are not valid at any CF resort. I think your best bet is to just use the coupons that came with the park maps this year. Also, there were inserts in the Plain Dealer last week with $75 off coupons. Haven't seen you around the floor in a while....

Wrong! I'm looking at it here in front of me... Two nights for the price of one at any CP resort, Castaway Bay or the Radisson at Knott's (three separate coupons). Does Cedar Fair have some other resorts I'm not aware of?

Thanks Jeff,
Easier to ask on the board than bug my sister-in-law's family. And Allan, I was just there last Sunday! Remember? I was there when I should have been studying.
