Castaway Bay wants to celebrate its one year anniversary in November by looking less like a Radisson hotel.
Cedar Point's indoor waterpark will get $2 million in touchups this fall, partially because of guest comments.
Although Castaway Bay is a year-round operation, the fall is the least busy time, he said.
How would they know that? The park opened last November.

Gravy-ty,
Luke and I stopped by Castaway Bay to SEE YOU, and we even went into the little children's play room. . .yet you were not there. That was. . .Thursday afternoon (perhaps during your PKI trip?).
ANYWAY. . .I am glad the rooms are getting attention. They certainly deserve it! When we stayed there. . .we laughed at the furniture. It made us laugh.
Long overdue. They should've done it up front with the launch of the water park. That property had been a dump for a long time. They can get away with mediocrity on-point, but with the other indoor water parks, it has to be better.
Perhaps I'll check it out this winter!
