Castaway Bay

I know this forum is for Cedar Point, but i think its affilliated. I am going up to get my pass on sunday morning and going to go to castaway bay in the afternoon and evening. Has anyone been there before and might be able to tell me about it a little, other than the pictures and stuff on their site. Thanks

It's a decent waterpark. Highly geared towards the kids. The water coaster is so-so. It's worth going to with the discount for having season passes for sure.

the small heated pool where you can swim through an opening to the outside is fun, at least it was last halloween weekend when it was so cold outside. we went to the waterpark for just $10 because we had booked a lighthouse point weekend package, it was worth that, but i doubt i would ever pay a regular price to go there.

2 of us will have s/p and one wont. I am wondering if somehow we can get a discount for him or if he is just plain ol gonna pay $30. Is it really worth it for the money?

Just go up to the counter alone and buy the passes. They probably wont bother checking everyones. But you never know. ( Or just make your friend get a season pass, he won't regret it at the end of the summer anyways.)
