Capture web cam images

Does anyone know how to set your computer up (somehow...maybe a program) to grab every web cam image for a period of time? I would write a program but I dont have time...so if their is a easier way please tell me. I want to do this because our family is going to CP for 4 days and one member has this shocking yellow shirt and she wants to see if she can be seen in the web cam.

Thanks,
-Frank

LiveSpy will do that.

That doesnt save it. It just makes that your background and replaces the image each update. Anyone know of one that saves the images also?

Yes, it does. I used LiveSpy to archive web cam images of Wicked Twister's construction December to opening day.

Download and install the program. Running LiveSpy.exe will put a little white clock icon in your tray. Right click on that icon and go to "options" Enter the camera URL on the "favorite cameras" tab. Click on the "update" tab and select the desired capture frequency. Then, click on the "options" tab and at the bottom, select "save downloaded images" Leave the filename as "dated" and they will be saved into the same directory as the LiveSpy program in the format "tmp.mmdd.hhmmss.jpg" Play around with the program a little and you'll see that you can do things like restrict the hours to which it will capture images (so it automatically turns off at night, etc.)

Use an animator program with all of those images and you can make time lapse movies.

Mine doesnt have that option. Did you register yours? On the options tab it only has Proxy Server (Port),Stretch wallpaper,Change camera on update, show camera name, and play sound on each update.

Maybe it's a different version .... yep, I'm using version 1.8 .... I guess download.com doesn't have that yet. Try this link.

Ok...now its working. Thanks for your help. I wish it was possible to disable the wallpaper from changing but I wont be home so it doesnt matter that much.

I don't have that problem. I think all you need to do is set your wallpaper to something else in desktop properties.
