Canadian Currency Discounts

Does anybody know if they are planning to offer tickets @ par this year? They didn’t last year and I was a little disappointed, but they did include $10 off coupons for Funday tickets with the Fun Guide, which really helped out. (I am thankful for all discounts, but when you want to go to the park 2 days, it makes you think whether to use the Funday coupons, or use the coupons for the Ride & Ride again tickets.)

For those that don’t know, $1 Canadian buys 68 American cents, or in order to buy an American greenback, it costs about $1.47 Canadian.

Just stop by my hometown of Novi Michigan. Go to the city hall. They sell cedar point tickets there for like $25 american. I dont have a calculator so I dont know how many loon's that is.

hey kakarot... i live in Novi too and i have what might sound like a stupid question but : where is the city hall? been living in novi for 15 months now and have never been to city hall.

i just answered my own question by going to www.ci.novi.mi.us - City Hall is located on the south side of 10 Mile Road 1/2 mile west of Novi Road... isn't the internet great? :)

Right next to the high school!!!....this is scary how many people live in Novi here! :D I seriously live within a 6 minute walk of City Hall. Spoooky... :)

Yeah, I live right next to city hall. I used to ride my bike over to the baseball diamonds right behind city hall almost everyday. Oh, and probie, the city hall is the big glass aquarium looking building on 10 mile next to the high school.

Xopher: Also, you'll save a little money when you buy anything (including discounted tickets) with your credit card, because at least that way you get the going exchange rate for that day without a cut going to the currency exchange places.

Yeah, Xopher, those at par coupons were a great deal - we buy season passes now, but you could really save some money with the exchange rate. Of course, us Canucks get to save a few bucks by filling up on American gas on the way (in case you Yanks don't know, gas up here has topped $2.50 (U.S.) a gallon), and, of course, the low low prices for such necessities such as beer. When are you heading down?

I live in Owosso Michigan, do you ask the clerk at city hall for cedar point tickets???

I live by Novi, but it won't be $25 dollars this year because CP raised there prices 7 or 8 dollars. Also most (if not all)city in Michigan sell CP tickets at a discounted rate (usely it is 4 or 5 dollars). You can get them at your's city parks and recreation center at some citys also at City Hall. Also some banks sell discounted CP tickets.

This is gunna sound funny, but I grew up in Owosso. I just think its a funny quincident.
