Canada's Wonderland now a Cedar Fair Property

With the aquisition of Paramount's amusement park division by Cedar Fair, that means that Canada's Wonderland is now hopefully under control of a company that can bring some much needed changes to this long neglected park.

Aside from the addition of The Italian Job last summer I think the last significant roller coaster addition was Top Gun back in 1995 (the others are tame family coasters and don't really count).

I myself haven't been back to the park since the early 90s. Once i had heard of a particular coaster that was over 200 feet tall in Sandusky Ohio (the name escapes me right now) I haven't been back.

Lets just hope that Cedar Fair can inject some much needed money, ideas and eneragy into a park that desparately needs it!!!
