@bholcomb: Who said they came from the inner city? They could be from anywhere. I grew up in a small very affluent town in north Oakland County, Michigan and this kind of crap happened all the time.
I damn near came to blows with some guy in line for Raptor last year who was being a complete jerk to me and everyone in the general vicinity. His ID said he was from Aurora, IL. A pretty nice town North of Chicago. I would look at what we know and not assume.
4 girls, in line for Mantis, fighting. Thats all we have to go on at this point.
Perhaps they just couldn't take hearing "Love Shack" again. I know that would make me violent.

Aurora is not a nice little suberb of Chicago. The gang problems there are almost as bad as certain parts in Chicago.
^Sorry, a pretty nice city north of Chicago. The east side sucks, but the rest of the city is clean, especially in the last few years since crime has gone down. I've spent a lot of time there over the last 3 years and even the gang problems really don't exist anymore on the east side and have not since the late nineties.
Either way, the point is don't assume these girls are inner city. The could be from a rural town in Michigan's upper peninsula, Queens borough, or as far away as California. Check out the douche bag who had a nice finance job at a law firm in PA, then walked into a health club and opened fire Monday night. Again, anyone from anywhere at anytime.
Well, if I was a betting man I'd say they're from Wayne County, but that's just me.
I Have a hard time finding that kids would act like that in an affluent city in northern Oakland County. Usually affluent families bring their kids up to not be fighting like gangbangers and hoodlums.
Granted I came from a suburb, and there was stupid fights like that in high school, but I don't think people from where I am from would seriously go out and get into cat fights like that at a freaking amusement park.
Wow. really?! Wayne County huh? Why not Pontiac in Oakland or Flint in Genesee county.
1995, St. Daniels Catholic church in Clarkston, Michigan. Right around the 3rd wealthiest town in what was at the time the 2nd wealthiest County in America. We took a church trip to Cedar Point by coach bus. 2 17 yr olds got into a fight in the bathrooms outside of Magnum. Parents called to come pick them up as they were not riding the bus home, on top of that some jagoff stole my best friends Sony discman off the bus. But that sort of stuff never happens in affluent suburbs.
I have choice words for [redacted]'s like you.
I've been there quite a bit (although usually just spring and fall) and have never had stuff stolen or seen a fight. And line-jumping is hardly limited to Cedar Point, and it is nowhere near the worst park for it.
Heck, the closest I saw to a fight was white trash moron who was all butt-hurt because he got scared by a screamster. That's it. So to think (or insinuate) that there is someone widespread issue with violence and/or theft at the park is asinine.

^ Agreed. We know of two incidents really. The fight in Mavericks line and this fight. Line jumping has been out of control, but only lately. Anyone here been to a Six Flags park in the last 4-5 years. Its like walking into an unguarded prison cell block.
In the last 4 years I have been to Six Flags Magic Mountain, Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom twice, Six Flags St. Louis, & Six Flags Great America. I felt just as safe being around the people there as I do when I go to Cedar Fair parks. (In the last 4 years I have been to Knott's Berry Farm once, Kings Island three times & Cedar Point twice.) I would actually say that the line jumping at Kings Island this year was worse than the line jumping I have seen at any of the Six Flags parks I have been to in the last 4 years.
As far as fights in line, I have never witnessed one at any park.
