Can we please post comments in the appropriate top

Folks,

As a lurker mostly, there is nothing that gripes me more than a completely off topic post. This forum has become comical at times because of the complete disregard to the topic that posts are being made under.

Exactly! I know what you mean! As a somewhat regular poster, I don't see why complaints about the forum are being posted in the AREA 51 section. It just tears me apart to see something that should be in the GENERAL forum in the AREA 51 forum.

you know i think we actually need variety in this forum. talking about the same thing over and over can get tiresome and sometimes people don't have anything to say about the topic. so why not add your own. and what is this thread you just started? practice what you preach why don't ya.

juppy: I think you should review the definition of "forum" and "topic".

Forum = Area 51

Topic = Can we please post comments in the appropriate top....

If you dont have anything to say about a topic, dont post. Noise is not necessary.

I agree completely with putergeek on this one. Some things have gotten...rediculous around here lately with some of the topics that have popped up. I think people are beginning to forget that other topics exist within CPPlace and that it is okay to frequent those as well.

Not that a healthy dose of fresh air wouldn't do a lot of the people here some good either...

I find it ironic that this statement is my personal pet peeve of GTTP or even CB.

Forum = GTTP's CP Place
Topic = Area 51
Thread = Can we please post comments in the appropriate topic

The title on this thread is correct, however the way you have defined it is not.

That is at least the way I have always thought about it, maybe I'm wrong though.
