Can you take pictures OF rides at CP? I know you can't take them while on the ride but I remember at Coasterbuzz, somebody said that you couldn't take pictures of the rides. Thanks for anybody's help.

You can take pictures when not on a ride, but you may not take pictures while on certain rides. Obviously pictures can be taken on the Train, but not on MF.

Actually, on my last trip a few weeks ago, they said no picture taking on the train as well.

The rule is supposedly all rides now...but if you have a camera while on the train or Giant Wheel, it's not like the ops will take them away before you ride.

Last year I sat in the front on MF, and I took a good shot of the lift. The ride op even told me that it would turn out to be a great picture, but not to take any photos while on the ride. Of course I didn't, I couldn't take the risk of losing my camera, even though have the pictures didn't develope right, including that picture. :(

Last year I took a disposable camera once and got a great shot going over the top of the lift. I did strap it very tightly to my arm because I didn't want to drop it and hurt somebody.

My uncle, who is into photography, asked a SkyRide Op if he was allowed to take pictures. She said technically he wasn't supposed to, but most people do.
