camper village/lighthouse point

hello to all...my parents got reservations to come out and visit CP this summer since I am working there...they are staying at lighthouse point and I was wondering if anyone had any information about the new facilities...anything like a pool or something just for the people staying there? I figured I would ask on here while anxiously waiting for April 29th.

I made reservations myself at lighthouse point for the 1st full opening weekend and this is what I was told the facities had...You have your choice of either a cabin or a cottage with the cabins being slightly bigger. Only difference is the larger has a loft that sleeps an additional 2 people with sleeping bags (bring your own)..other than that the places all have 2 futons and a pull out bed or full size bed which in total with the loft is supposed to be for up to 8 people..All are equipped with a kitchenette with a mini fridge and microwave but no stove. They all have Cable TV and she said a patio with your own grill and private cove/pond view.She said the family room/slash main room was large and thats where the futons are gonna be.

Lighthouse Point will have a pool, plus lot of other amenities. From CP's website: "Fifty cottages, 10 cabins and 59 luxury RV campsites will be the highlight of this camping community, with amenities such as an outdoor pool; recreation area with lawn games; arcade; pier; eatery; and the preservation and renovation of the historic Cedar Point lighthouse into a nautical merchandise shop and gallery adding to the comforts for modern-day campers."
