Camp Snoopy Canoe

In Camp Snoopy there is a waterfall with a red canoe riding down it. In the canoe are Snoopy and three Woodstock type birds.
On the sides of the canoe are the words "Camp Snoopy Rapid Transit". At the front of the canoe there is a name, "Penobscot 16".

Does anyone know what this means? Is it from the Peanuts Comic strip? Is it some one at CP?

At KBF they do not have a name on a pretty much identical display. Are there names on other canoes at other Camp Snoopy's?

It's the model name of the canoe. The 16 stands for its length. Any Google search would've revealed this.

I just can't say "MSN Search" as a verb. :)

I believe the summer camp the peanuts gang attended was also "Camp Penobscot", but that's a pretty dim memory.
